Dear family in Christ, ,
Peace be with you all. Imagine a church, with a large tree at its center, surrounded by a simple bamboo fence. For many, such a sight may be difficult to picture, but for the people of remote African villages, this is their place of worship—a sacred space where they come together to praise the Lord. Though the setting is basic and vulnerable to the elements, it is the best meeting place they can create with the resources available to them.
These people have long been overlooked, and many assume that no one would care for those so humble. Yet, God often calls us to recognize such needs, inviting us to understand His heart for the world more deeply. Whether it be the rich or the poor, the world is filled with harvest waiting to be gathered. I believe that as we open our eyes to these needs, God will stir our hearts, prompting us to respond to the cries of the impoverished and the weak. In doing so, we demonstrate His love and care through generous giving and acts of compassion.
“In everything I did, I showed you that by this kind of hard work we must help the weak, remembering the words the Lord Jesus himself said: ‘It is more blessed to give than to receive.’” Acts 20:35

親愛的家人 平安
以一棵大樹為中心，圍上一圈竹籬笆，就成了一間教會。對許多人來說，這樣的景象或許難以想像，但對非洲偏遠部落的族人而言，這正是他們敬拜耶和華神的地方。雖然環境極為簡陋，又容易被干擾，卻是這群百姓在能力範圍內所能建造最好的聚會場所。
這些百姓長期被忽略，甚至不認為會有人願意為像他們這樣卑微的人付出什麼。但神卻常常帶領我們看見這樣的需要，讓我們更深地體會祂愛世人的心。無論是富裕的人，還是身處貧困中的人，整個世界都充滿了等待收割的莊稼。我相信，神要藉著讓我們看見需要，進而觸動我們的心，使信徒能在貧困弱勢的需要中，藉著實際的奉獻，愛心的行動，彰顯出神對人的顧念。
「我凡事給你們作榜樣，叫你們知道應當這樣勞苦，
扶助軟弱的人，又當記念主耶穌的話，說：『施比受更為有福。」
