Peace to be you all. Chiang Rai Province in northern Thailand often appeals to tourists because there are several ethnic minorities concentrated. The most well-known of all is the Kayan Lahwi, the group of women who wear brass neck rings. They are a sub-group of Red Karen, also called Padaung. Due to conflict with the military regime in Myanmar, many Kayan tribes fled to the Thai border area and set up refugee camps, living a hard and difficult life and in their eyes, reflecting an uncertainty and hopelessness for the future.

        Praise the Lord for the opportunity to be able to provide them with necessary supplies and share the Gospel with them. We believe that no matter how large or small a people group, each is precious in God's sight. Therefore, we must seek that which was lost so that all nations can live in the love and grace of God, and regain eternal hope.
