Father's Day is June 19th! Purloin Studio is now carrying very cool "jewelry" for the guys. These pieces are designed and created by an ex marine out of salvaged airplanes. Isn't it time the dad in your life finally got some very excellent cuff links that aren't boring.

Wine Glass Painting

Instructor: Kathy Michgers

Enjoy a two hour glass painting class. This is a fun class that requires no experience.

Create your own wine glasses in colors you love. A good time with friends.

This is also perfect for a wedding shower or a thank you party for your bridesmaids.

Tee Shirt beginning Zentangle Class

Instructor: Mary Boettcher

Just in time for warm weather, Mary is offering a Zentange Tee Shirt Class. She recommends some beginning Zentangle experience. Mary will provide the design for your shirt along with all the drawing materials. You will need to purchase or bring in a washed cotton tee.

(prewashing the tee shirt will remove all the sizing allowing the colors to be more permanent)

Fee: $40 Pick the class date that works for you

June 22nd from 6-8pm

June 25th from 1-3pm

Ceramic Class: Slab construction, this class can take up to 6 people.

Instructor: Carmen Bond

This class will focus on soft slab construction consisting of 3 sessions. All materials are included.

Fee: $95 for all three class

Saturday June 11th from 1-3pm: Building pieces

Saturday June 18th from 1-3pm: Building pieces

Saturday June 25th from 1-3pm: Glazing

The glazed pieces will be ready for pick up at Purloin Studio the following week, Carmen will let everyone know the day at the 3rd Class.

Children's ceramic classes will be held separate. If you are interested in enrolling your child 10 and up in this class please contact the gallery.

The Optimist Club of Menomonee Falls popcorn wagon has opened for the 2016 season. The popcorn wagon will be at a new location this season, at the front of the Falls Plaza I shopping center along the east side of Appleton Avenue. Popcorn wagon hours are 6:30 to 9:00 p.m., seven days a week. New this year will be a Kettle Corn night which will feature kettle corn in addition to our traditional popcorn. That night is tentatively set to be on Wednesdays.

Proceeds from popcorn wagon sales go towards the many programs support by the Club. Optimist Clubs are focused entirely on support youth programs like the Fishing Derby, Post Prom, college scholarships, essay and speaking competitions and most visible, the Independence Day Parade, along with many contributions to youth organizations.

The Optimist Club wishes to thank Total Health, where the wagon has resided up until this year for their very generous support.
