FEATURED BIKE
"Cherry-it"

Originally built in 1973 by Mel "The Dragonman" Berstein, this Harley-Davidson powered Trike was handcrafted from a Panhead frame, a Servi rear-end, and a 250 gallon oil drum. The welding  was done with a torch and coat hangers.  After sitting outside for decades, it was purchased by the Motorcyclepedia Museum and has received a complete restoration by Tom Owejan.

Volunteer Spotlight!
Meet Jim Jarosz!

Jim started volunteering at Motorcyclepedia in 2019 after being a member of the Antique Motorcycle Club of America for over 30 years. He is pictured on his restored 1946 Harley-Davidson Knucklehead that Jim found it in pieces at the Brookfield Swap Meet 25 years ago. He met Dan Henke (Motorcyclepedia Board of Trustee President) who helped him with the restoration. Jim’s motorcycle is also featured on the cover of the Shop Dope Knucklehead Book on sale at the gift shop.

Jim is always working on restoring a project bike. He owns a ’56 FLH, a ’67 FLH, a ’66 FLH and is starting work on a ’56 FL this fall. He likes being at the museum because “it’s not like work and you get to hang out with old motorcycles and people who are interested in them.  It’s a pleasure.”
New Addition!

1913 Iver Johnson

Mike Terry bought the Iver Johnson from Lonnie Isam Jr. The bike was previously owned by E. J. Cole. Mike Terry was told by Lonnie Isam Sr., that the Iver Johnson was brought from the East Coast in the early 1970's. It was acomplete original found in a salvage yard.
The Iver Johnson has a 650 cc single rotary valve cylinder engine,  a Corbin V band rear wheel, Troxel Seat and Tool Box, as well as a special sprung frame that was introduced in 1912. The rear rack  has an original Acetylene Haedlamp and Tail Lamp. It's one of two bikes known with this frame.
