Volunteer Spotlight!

Denny Woodruff
Denny is a new Board of Trustee member and a weekly “behind the scenes” volunteer. He is leading the motorcycle display stabilization project and works on other building and grounds projects.

Denny has a passion for classic cars and owns a 1931 Ford Victoria. This interest expanded into motorcycles as he started volunteering here in 2018. Denny said volunteering here is like being in a time warp and some of his favorite motorcycles are in the Ed Roth Collection. Growing up he was a huge Rat Fink fan but his favorite motorcycle at Motorcyclepedia is the 2009 Harley-Davidson Custom Racer with sidecar. He likes the design because it combines both new and old style elements.

New Addition!

1909 Indian Motorcycle

In 1909, Indian Motorcycle pioneered the "loop frame" that was more similar to racing motorcycle design than the previous "diamond frame" that originated with bicycles. This motorcycle was completed and delivered to the museum by Bruce Lindsay on June 7th 2019.
This motorcycle is powered by a 38 cubic inch, 5 HP V-twin motor. It originally cost $275.00
