Your Membership and Insurance End-of-Year Wrap-Up Checklist
As the school year comes to an end, don't forget about these important end-of-year tasks. If you get them done now, you don't have to worry about them over the summer:
All your members from 2016-17 should be registered on the Membership Portal by June 30.
Don't forget to provide email addresses for your members to receive their eCard and not to miss any "Show Your Card and Save" program member benefits.
Send your final membership dues payment to the state office by May 31.
You can enter your new members for 2017-18 starting July 1.
Any unused credit voucher balances will roll forward and can be used with your next membership payment.
Did you have at least 5% membership growth this past year? Then you might qualify for this award drawing. Check out the details

Officers must be elected by your membership at your annual meeting in compliance with your bylaws.
After elections, you need to update your officers' contact information (even if nothing has changed) with the Form A
HERE!
Your payment and the three signed insurance forms are due to AIM by June 1. Please call AIM at 1-800-876-4044 for assistance or a replacement packet!
After July 1, AIM will begin mailing certificates to presidents after (a) AIM receives your payment and signed paperwork AND (b) you updated your elected officers contact information with the
Form A.
As a courtesy, late fees will not be assesed until after July 1.

Summer Leadership Conference
July 21-23, 2017, Utica College
Utica College is a casual, relaxing and scenic environment where you can network with state PTA leaders and other PTA members from around the state, and expand your leadership skills.
Past attendees have found the information interesting, useful, motivational and supportive. It is also a great opportunity for you to meet new PTA friends and share ideas.
So grab your Pink Ladies, T‐Birds, poodle skirts and rolled t‐shirts!
This NYS PTA award was established in 1991 to honor the memory of Jane Skrzypek. The purpose of this award is to recognize an outstanding leader in your PTA who, by his or her actions, inspires others to volunteer and assume leadership positions. Deadline: June 15
The Teacher Fellowship was established in 1961 to encourage excellent teachers to stay in the classroom by providing them opportunity to improve teaching skills, update professional knowledge, and expand professional perspectives. In 1992, the Fellowship was named to honor a “Master Teacher,” Richard Gazzola, who served on the New York State PTA Board of Directors for many years prior to his untimely death in 1991.
