YHDP communities are charged with developing and implementing a coordinated community plan to prevent and end youth homelessness, including addressing the four core youth outcomes of stable housing, education and employment, permanent connections, and wellbeing.
Under its scope of work with the U.S. Department of Education, NCHE provides technical assistance to YHDP communities to support the inclusion of education partnerships and pathways in community efforts. NCHE congratulates Round 4 and 5 YHDP sites and looks forward to working with them moving forward. We will be reaching out to State Coordinators and local liaisons in grantee sites in the near future to share information about opportunities to engage in the work.
