The National Network for Youth (NN4Y) is proud to be the lead advocate for the vital Runaway and Homeless Youth Act (RHYA) program.
There are currently two RHYA funding opportunities available:
Basic Center Program (BCP)
The BCP provides temporary shelter and counseling services to youth who have left home without permission of their parents or guardians, have been forced to leave home, or are experiencing homelessness or housing instability, who might otherwise end up in the law enforcement, child welfare, mental health, or juvenile justice systems.
Deadline to apply: June 9, 2023

National Communication System (NCS)
The purpose of the NCS Program is to a) prevent youth from running away and becoming homeless, b) link youth with a family member or guardian, and/or an available resource that can provide and/or assist the youth in acquiring needed services, and c) increase prevention education to reduce runaway incidents and youth homelessness.
