As we prepare for another new school year, new buses are being delivered to the caretakers of the most precious cargo in the world.....our school children. NYAPT Summer Conference New York State's transportation professionals gathered in Albany, New York, in July to celebrate the 76th Anniversary of the yellow school bus. The annual event was highlighted with the trade show and as always, the conference offered an opportunity for learning, comraderie, and fun. National School Bus Safety Week National School Bus Safety Week is an active and evolving public education program is an excellent way for everyone - parents, students, teachers, motorists, school bus operators, school administrators, and other interested parties - to join forces and address the importance of school bus safety. Designed to promote school bus safety, school districts throughout the country have been observing a School Bus Safety Week - held during the third week in October each year (NAPT). It truly is a big bus in a compact package – with safety cage body construction, one piece skirt-to-skirt roof bows and internal roof crash rails for rollover protection. As a result, this rugged bus meets all Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standards for school buses.The Minotour® also offers a variety of benefits– from ergonomic driver controls and a Saf-T-Vue window to seating options for up to 30 passengers and easy serviceability.
