"Hello everyone my name is Mario. I am so excited to begin this new journey at the Newark Public Library. This is all a new experience for me as I have worked in the medical field most of my career, however I am eager to learn and grow with you all. On my spare time I enjoy hanging with my fur baby Lucy and catching new movies especially horror ones. I enjoy spending time with my loved ones, nature, and I try to enjoy the little things as much as I can." |

Tuesday, May 19th community members will have the opportunity to vote on the proposed budget for the 2026-27 fiscal year. The vote will take place at the Newark High School (625 Perison Avenue) from 9:00 AM until 8:00 PM. Voters must be residents of the Newark Central School District and 18 years of age or older.
The library will hold a budget hearing Thursday, May 14th from 6:00–6:30 PM to allow voters to learn more about the proposed budget and ask questions. |
