Intergroup
by Irving M.
Intergroup may sound like a strange word to some of our recovering members in Alcoholics Anonymous. Though Intergroups and Central Offices are not part of the AA service structure, I am extremely grateful for the services the Intergroup office in my area provides. Most groups usually distribute their monetary contributions to their intergroup, district, area, and GSO. But do you really know what your Intergroup office does? Have you asked yourself why Intergroups are not part of the AA service structure? Just like I thank GSO for all the services it provides to the groups in the U.S, I also thank our Intergroup offices for what they do and continue to do for our fellowship. We’re approaching that part of the calendar where you can show your gratitude to your Intergroup office. Visit your Intergroup and see where your dollar is going and what it is doing for our membership. |
