Meet Coach Rachel! Coach Rachel was a camper at OYA for ELEVEN YEARS before becoming a CIT for two years, and this summer will be her third as a counselor.
Rachel has a younger sister named Claire who also works at OYA as a CIT. They share two cats named Porkchop and Linus.

|
Rachel will graduate this year from International Academy in Bloomfield Hills and will attend the University of Michigan in the fall to study sociology or international studies.
Aside from her commitment to academics, Rachel has been on a competitive rock climbing team throughout high school and plans to continue climbing in college. |

|
Despite her athleticism, Rachel has a MAJOR sweet tooth (molten chocolate lava cake with vanilla ice cream is her favorite dessert, to be exact). She is also a passionate activist for women’s rights and human rights. |
