Introducing Coach Sarah D!

Coach Sarah is a local Waterford native and comes to us from Mott High School. Having attended many different camps herself, she is looking forward to spending the summer as a Junior Counselor at Oakland Yard! |

One of her favorite things to do is to travel and visit new places.
Coach Sarah also loves to go biking and camping with her friends.
In addition to working with younger kids at her church, Sarah was part of the Peer Mediation group at her school and has taught leadership skills to middle school students.

|
|
Summer is her favorite season so when the weather is warm you'll usually find her outside enjoying the sun.
She's going to love spending the summer outside at camp every day!

|
When Coach Sarah isn't outside catching fish or shaking hands with other primates, you're likely to find her curled up with a good book or drawing.
|
|
|
|
|
She's actually had 4 years of art classes and has competed in the Scholastic Art Competition and is looking forward to helping campers create their own art.
Coach Sarah says, "summer camp is an amazing opportunity for these young children to grow as people and explore new activities that they may love and continue to do for the rest of their lives."
She's a great addition to our staff the summer, and we can't wait for you to meet her!
