Spring Arrives Early in Los Angeles!

March is the month that most gardeners finally get out into the garden when spring warmth tempts us outside. By April, most gardeners have been out for several weeks; but anytime in March and April is a great time to start incorporating soil amendments, sowing seeds, and putting in transplants.
What to Plant Now
It's time to add color to your garden! Use a planting list to determine the ideal times for planting in Los Angeles County. Bedding plants are plants (usually annuals) massed with others to produce the maximum in visual appeal. With an eye to the five basic elements of landscape design (color, scale, line, form and texture), Oakridge Landscape, Inc. skillfully arranges each bedding plant in relation to the accompanying annuals, perennials, shrubs and trees.

1. Select the planting month desired to install your flowers
2. Select your environment or exposure.
