Annual General Meeting
Notice is hereby given that the AGM of Port Mandurah Residents’ Association Inc. will be held at the Old Yacht Club in Halls Head Parade on Tuesday 24th March 2015; 6.00pm for 6.15pm in order to consider the AGM’s Ordinary Resolutions and also a Special Resolution to alter the Rules of the Association – please see agenda below. Light refreshments will be served after the meeting.

5. Adoption of Special Resolution to alter the Rules of the Association (the Constitution) to replace Clause 17 with the following clause as recommended by the Department of Commerce:
Distribution of surplus property on winding up of Association
If upon the winding up or dissolution of the Association there remains after satisfaction of all its debts and liabilities any property whatsoever, the same must not be paid to or distributed among the members, or former members.
The surplus property must be given or transferred to another association incorporated under the Act which has similar objects and which is not carried out for the purposes of profit or gain to its individual members, and which association shall be determined by resolution of the members.
