I took this picture of our flowering tree that is right by our front door this morning (March 30); a visible sign that Spring is finally here! I do not know about you, but I am very tired of winter, snow and freezing cold weather.
On that note, I hope that you all had a great March, enjoyed both St. Patrick's Day and Easter.
In this month's newsletter, we are addressing some tips for treating your cat with readily available, over the counter medications for several of the most common illnesses, conditions, and injuries.
The other article is about how our cats and kittens have adjusted to our new water fountains! Yes, they still use the free-standing water bottles, but they also use the fountains.
Everyone have a safe and happy April. |

What do you get if you cross an elephant with a cat? A big furry creature that purrs while it sits on your lap and squashes you. |

Hello Susan:
Thank you once again for a very interesting newsletter, to set the record straight, we have a small, home cattery, located in Queensland, Austrailia.
We breed Persians and Exotics, this season it's been a time for our Exotics to excel themselves, so it has given us an opportunity to share some visuals of our latest kittens.
We also read and see on TV about the freezing weather you are having over in the USA, our thoughts go out to you, it's a shame our temperature couldn't meet in the middle after all we are experiencing record heatwave conditions in Australia, so it's been a matter of finding ways of keeping our furry friends COOL.
Blue & White Exotic kitten Look forward to receiving further newsletters.
Kind regards,
Bill & Lesley Fenwick

Send in Those Pictures
Does your cat do something that you think nobody would believe unless they saw a picture of it? Send us the picture. Is your cat having a love affair with another species? Send us the picture. Is your cat the life of any gathering? Send us the picture. ... You get the idea.
We thought it would be fun to show a Cat O'Month photo every month which will be posted in our newsletter. If you submit a picture, please provide the following information:
1. Your full name (Only first name will be used in newsletter)
2. Name of cat;
3. Age or date of birth of cat;
4. Color and breed of cat;
5. If other animals are picture, please provide the animal's information.
You MUST be the owner of the picture. The cat does NOT have to be a Persian cat, nor does it have to be a purebred cat. We just want to make this fun.
Send the picture to: newsletter@pelaqitapersians.com
Regards,
Susan
