Joe Hart Chosen for Distinguished Service Award
Longtime PSU supporter and community volunteer Joe Hart was selected as this year’s winner of the Ralf J. Thomas Distinguished Service Award. Join us in honoring Joe during a public reception Monday, March 4th at 2:00 pm at the Wilkinson Alumni Center followed by the Apple Day Ceremony at 3:00 pm.

Women's Indoor Track & Field Team Claims Third Straight MIAA Indoor Title
The Pittsburg State University women's indoor track & field team captured its third consecutive indoor conference title as the Gorillas edged second-place Lincoln University by one point for the 2019 MIAA Indoor Championship. The Pitt State men finished third overall at the 2019 MIAA Indoor Championships.

Kelce College of Business faculty, staff, and students are celebrating their recent accreditation by the AACSB.This marks the 20th anniversary of the KCOB earning its first accreditation — a milestone that is unique to other institutions in the region.

Students Design and Fabricate Unique Bike for those in Wheelchairs
A unique project taken on by seniors in Mechanical and Manufacturing Engineering Technology will result in more than just a grade. It will change lives. “This could have a real impact on people,” said Mitch Yeomans, who is the lead student on the project. “It will give the elderly and disabled chances they wouldn’t otherwise have.”

Interior Design Students Propose Designs for New Family Fun Center
Once again, a historic building in Pittsburg is getting new life and PSU students are leaving their mark. Denise Bertoncino's Interior Design seniors are working with local businessman Larry Fields on schematics for an indoor family fun center.
