Race to Action: Anti Asian American and Pacific Islanders Racism

Join Riverside’s Antiracism Taskforce on Thursday, April 15 from 7:00-9:00 p.m. for a special Race to Action lab that focuses on anti-Asian American and Pacific Islanders Racism.

The lab will cover the history of anti-Asian violence in the United States and what’s going on now, and offer a panoply of ways to act in solidarity and support with Asian Americans and other targets of racism.

The lab will include time to take one such action – advocacy for U.S. HR 6721/ S 937to facilitate the expedited review of COVID-19 related hate crimes.

The Rev. Laura Mariko Cheifetz, Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.) minister serving as an assistant dean at Vanderbilt University Divinity School.
