Background
It is time to take a stand against systemic racism. Faith communities have a critical role to play in fighting injustice.
Details
Mission and Social Justice at Riverside Church has developed a day of action against Systemic Racism in Three Parts: Advocating for Voters' Rights, Ending Environmental Racism, and Fighting Mass Incarceration & Immigration Detention. Rooted in Scripture and personal reflection, the program will feature brief presentations defining key issues in these three areas, followed by a time for participants to take specific actions to further social justice at the local and national levels.
"He has told you, O man, what is good; and what does the Lord require of you but to do justice, and to love kindness, and to walk humbly with your God?" (Micah 6:8)
