New Semester Notes:

If you are retaking a course for grade forgiveness that was previously taken as an honors course, even if you are retaking the course the second time as a non-honors course, there is an additional form that you must submit PRIOR to retaking the course. This form must be filled out and submitted to your Honors advisor to be signed by an SCHC Dean before January 22nd.

If you wish to H-Option one of your courses this semester, you must complete the H-Option Form in consultation with the instructor for the course and submit it to the Honors College before January 22nd. (H-Option is not available to freshmen, can be used only three times, and usually cannot be exercised for courses regularly offered by the Honors College or for 100-level courses.)

If you have an internship this semester and want to receive Honors credit, you must complete and submit the Internship Contract before January 22nd. In order to submit the contract and enroll in the internship course, you must make an appointment with our Internship Coordinator, Erica Elbery--this appointment can be made through EAB Pathfinder or you can see Erica during her internship drop-in hours on January 22 from 12:30pm - 4:30pm in DeSaussure 123.

If you are conducting research with a professor this semester and want to receive credit through SCHC 497, you must complete and submit the Research Contract before January 22nd.

To change your major sign up for a Change of Major workshop for the new college you wish to change to. Here is a video to show you how to schedule this appointment.

To change your major into the Darla Moore School of Business you must apply to transfer into the college by March 1st using this application.

Honors Advising for Fall ’19 will take place between February 25th and April 5th. Your Honors advisor will send out the link to sign up for an appointment on Monday, February 18th.
