Welcome back!
Here's what's happening this week:

Today is MLK Day!

It's a day on, not off. Join hands with your Carolina community to honor Dr. King’s life and to work together to help others through events, special seminars and other learning experiences that continue to spread his vision and work.

Spotlight on Service

The time you spend in a student organization, as a community volunteer or working on the job can help you build skills and serve others. The Leadership and Service Center is a free, on-campus resource that can help you build your leadership skills, impact your community and expand your education beyond the classroom. Opportunities include:

  • Volunteering Connect your skills with those who need them most.
  • Service Leadership If you're ready to take your community volunteerism to a higher level, consider becoming a service leader.
  • Service-Learning In service-learning, your education is connected to meaningful, hands-on community service.
  • Civic Engagement Access a range of nonpartisan programs and services that can help you learn about key electoral issues and help you cast your ballot during elections.
  • Service Days and Weeks Promote awareness and complete service events as part of several national weeks of recognition around specific issues.
