Spotlight on food waste from
Sustainable Carolina
Did you know? 3.6 million tons of food are wasted every day... that’s 7.2 billion pounds of food every year. Join us in raising awareness of food waste by participating in Weigh the Waste during No Impact Week. We will be collecting and weighing all food that goes uneaten during peak meal times and using the data to emphasize the magnitude of food waste that we are all capable of producing without even realizing it.
Stop by Honeycomb Cafe during any of the following meal times this week to participate:
Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday 5:30 - 7:30 pm and Thursday 11:45 am - 1:30 pm
