OVERRIDE REQUEST FORM: Do you have a compelling reason why you should be enrolled in a specific Honors course for Spring 2020?  If so, our Override Request Form is now available.  Please note that overrides into Honors courses are rare because we strive to maintain the small class size that is part of our Honors Experience. 

STUDY ABROAD MEMORIES: The Honors College is collecting study abroad memories, photos and videos from our students! Share your favorite stories from abroad through our online form and easily upload your images and video. Find the submission form here. 
APPLY TO BE A PEER MENTOR: The Honors College is seeking exceptional and bright student leaders from a wide range of backgrounds to serve as peer mentors for the next incoming class of freshmen. The position will begin the fall of 2020. We have an info session Wednesday, Nov. 20th from 12:00 - 1:00 PM in the Gressette Room in Harper College. Join us to learn more about the peer mentorship program! Apply here. 

STILL LOOKING FOR AN HONORS COURSE FOR SPRING 2020? SCHC 475: Global Stakeholder Management was recently added to the course schedule and there are seats available.  This course is open to ALL Honors students and counts as an Honors elective.  The course is an international business (IB) course for students who are NOT IB majors, but want to learn more of what it’s all about.  Enroll to learn the political, economic, sociological and psychological foundations of global management and engagement across various industries and multiple countries.

Honors Peer Mentor Info Session
12:00 - 1:00 PM | Gressette Room, 3rd Floor Harper College
The South Carolina Honors College is seeking exceptional and bright student leaders from a wide range of backgrounds to serve as  peer mentors for the next incoming class of freshmen. The position will begin the fall of 2020. Peer mentors aid new students in transitioning to college life, the Honors College experience, learning about student leadership and academic opportunities and much more!

Summer Opportunities Workshop
4:00 PM | Gressette Room, 3rd Floor Harper College

Learn about summer programs such as NSF REUs, the UK Summer Fulbright, Mount Vernon Fellows, and the DAAD RISE at this session for freshmen and sophomores. Deadline to apply varies by competition.

The School of Visual Art and Design's signature Holiday Art Sale is back!
Take home an original work of art during our two day event (November 21 & 22). Selections across prints, drawings, paintings, ceramics, and sculpture will be available for purchase. The sale will take place on the first floor of McMaster College and Gallery. All proceeds will benefit participating SVAD student organizations!

Critical Language Scholarship

CLS provides an intensive language study program for US students, funded by the US Department of State. Participants study one of 15 critical languages for approximately 12 weeks over the summer.
