Being a mentor is a great way for upperclassmen give back. Through this leadership position you'll connect with new students and share wisdom and advice about being an Honors College student.

Help plan events for the Honors College, increase alumni interactions and share your ideas on how to make the Honors College experience even better!

Black Honors Caucus 
BHC is a safe space for high achieving Black students to convene and share ideas unapologetically and without fear, building a sense of community to empower Black students and setting a precedent of excellence. Contact president  Alex Thompson for more info. 

Further Together Columbia
Founded by SCHC young alumni, Further Together Columbia is a new community outreach group focused on bringing students younger than 25 and adults older than 50 together to connect, communicate, and learn.

Cocky Conversations
Fellow students trained in low-to-mid-level emotional support providing an anonymous environment in which to vent as well as connections to further resources. Support level between talking to a friend and talking to a counselor. Mondays from 5:30-7:30, HRH B119 

C.A.L.M. Oasis Space
Center for Health and Well-Being
Room 215
Come to the C.A.L.M. Oasis for mindfulness and meditation, either through open practice or to participate in open learning coordinated by a trained facilitator. All are welcome.

Active Minds
Active Minds at USC is a student run non-profit organization that promotes mental health awareness, education, and advocacy. The group is designed to utilize peer outreach in conjunction with the counseling center to increase students’ awareness of mental health issues and symptoms of mental illness, provide information about available resources, encourage students to seek help as soon as help is needed, and to serve as a liaison between students and the mental health community. 

Therapist-Assisted Online (TAO)
The Therapy-Assisted Online (TAO) program provides you with therapeutic interventions any time, anywhere for anxiety, depression, communication problems and other common concerns.

Crisis Text Line
Text HOME to 741741 to text with a trained Crisis Counselor, a real-life human being trained to bring texters from a hot moment to a cool calm through active listening and collaborative problem solving.
