An award-winning teacher, Elise Blackwell is the author of five novels. Her work has been translated into several languages, named to best-of-the-year lists, adapted for the stage, and served as inspiration for a Decemberists' song. One of the questions she's asked most often is how to write a book. In this talk, she'll answer that question by first answering two more fundamental questions: Whether and *Why to Write a Novel.
