OPPORTUNITIES
The Honors College
Artists in Residence Program is seeking applicants for the 2018-19 season. Open to students in every major, creative discipline and medium. Participants receive funding for their projects, feedback from the creative community, and are featured in a showcase each spring.
The Leadership and Service Center is accepting applications for
Alternative Break Leaders and
Service Saturday Site Leaders.
The Career Center will be offering an opportunity for a student to receive funding for an unpaid internship this summer with a non-profit organization in the Columbia area through the
William L. Richter Scholarship Program.

The Office of Fellowships and Scholar Programs (OFSP) is gearing up for their
Intent to Apply season. If you're thinking about applying for a national fellowship next year (2018-2019) submit an
Intent to Apply Form by April 6.
SPOTLIGHT ON SUMMER HOUSING
Sticking around this summer? May 1 is the priority deadline to
apply for on-campus housing during the summer break.
The Honors College also has a few rooms in our Washington, DC house available for the summer. Contact

Apartments in Park Place
A small number of apartments at Park Place will be open for students this summer. Apply through Self Service Carolina.
Length of Contract: Sunday, May 13 - Sunday, August 5 Cost: $2,622 *Amentity fee of $75 payable to Park Place must be complete before term begins by check or money order.
Apartments in 650 Lincoln
Full Summer (May 13-August 2): $2,870
Summer 1 (May 13-June 21): $1,665
Summer 2 (June 24-August 2): $1,430
Alternate Summer (June 4-August 2): $2,345
650 Lincoln also offers a daily rate of $35. Contact 650 Lincoln to inquire for summer 2018 housing.
Who is eligible?
Any student pre-registered for fall 2018. Priority goes to students who are enrolled in summer school classes.
Room Assignments
Assignments will be available on Self Service Carolina a week before the beginning of each session. Assignments are made based on the date you submitted your application.
