Beyond the Classroom funding opportunities
The Honors College offers competitive awards for Beyond the Classroom experiences including study away, internships and research. Funds are limited and awarded on the basis of need and merit, in accordance with the various donors’ wishes.  More [pdf]

SC Humanities Student Research Fellowships
are awarded on a competitive basis to undergraduate students in their sophomore or junior years to support research in the study of history, philosophy and ethics, literature, linguistics, languages, jurisprudence, cultural anthropology, archaeology, comparative religions, art history and/or criticism, folklore, or interdisciplinary scholarship in these areas. Special consideration is given to projects that have a South Carolina focus or component. In FY2019, the maximum award amount is $1,000.

Now Accepting Entries for the Annual SCHC Study Abroad Photo Contest!
Have you studied abroad?  Do you have the pictures to prove it?  Submit them to our Annual Study Abroad Photo Contest!  Share your best study abroad photo along with title, date, location and short description of why the photo was significant to your study abroad experience.  Winners will be recognized with prizes on October 10 from 5:30-7:00pm in the Honors Residence Hall Room B110.  Email entries to Megan Campbell at tone@mailbox.sc.edu by October 1st at 5pm.
