This class is for all skill levels, whether you are a beginner looking to get off on the right foot, or an experienced artist looking to incorporate a classical drawing foundation into your practice.

Carol Morley offers Building Drawing Skills (SA 8), an 8 week class that will help you get started and build your confidence through step-by-step drawing exercises. The class will cover contour line drawing, how to shade to create depth and form, perspective and compositional skills. Develop your own unique way of seeing and drawing.

Carol Morley also offers Drawing from Nature (SA 10). Explore the natural world through sketching and drawing, taking your inspiration from nature as you capture the diverse and intriguing shapes of plants and other natural forms.

Bill Paarlberg offers Trees: Beauty, Structure & Fall Color (SA 3). His class is for artists of all levels and media who wish to explore sketching and painting trees. Students will work outdoors, and in the studio, to study various types and species of trees, and to learn how to best represent their shapes, volumes, and personalities, paying special attention to fall colors. Bill demonstrates in pencil, pen and ink, and watercolor.
