Hand Building in Clay with Julie Marvin
Julie Marvin continues her Hand Building with Clay (SA 20) class on Wednesday mornings beginning February 5th. Explore basic hand building construction methods, focusing on pinch pots and slab work. Use molds and templates along with stamps and sprigs for decoration. Surface treatments and glazing basics will also be covered in this relaxed class designed for the curious.

Tom Glover's Seacoast (SA 2) class begins Monday February 2nd. Using the seacoast as fodder for your creative imagination, work from photos, sketches and even memories of Seacoast locales, in the medium of your choice. Artists who worked in the seacoast will be referenced, such as Tarbell, Fiske, Cheney, Hopper and more. Under Tom’s expert guidance, look at diverse styles and approaches to subject matter and compare traditional techniques with modernist influences.
