 Pizza Party!

sanctuaryarts

Join us in the garden for a splendid pizza party fundraiser to benefit our Scholarship program at Sanctuary Arts Connects. Featuring live music with Satigata (satigata.com), dancing, hot pies from the gas kiln, friends and community gathered together in support of each other and accessible art education. Saturday July 30, 5 - 8 pm. And we will have a Bouncy House for the kids!

Great news about Sanctuary Arts Connects!

Con Tutti! gifted $500, in honor of our greatly missed friend Tom Ingle, who sang tenor with them, for our scholarship non profit. Con Tutti! is a wonderful chorus on the seacoast, whose many members sing and celebrate a range of seasonal and multicultural music from many traditions. Joanne Connolly, the founder and director of Con Tutti!, and Joe Salsbury brought over the check on a beautiful sunny day. Lauren Dow, who administers Sanctuary Arts Connects, and I gratefully accepted the check in our formal garden.

Director’s Notes

I am pleased to announce I share an opening, with watercolorist Kimberly Meuse, at the Barn Gallery in Ogunquit on August 13 from 4 – 7:30. I’ll be showing my figurative bronze sculpture and egg tempera and oil paintings, as well as a few drawings. Kimberly and I will have a gallery talk August 18 at 6 pm. The show is open from August 3 – September 4. I do hope you can come and see the variety of my work and the new directions I am exploring.

I’ve also recently designed and executed a new website, with the help of Green Foundry proprietor, Lauren Dow. christophergowellfine

arts.com showcases my sculpture, egg tempera and oil painting, drawing and slate memorial carving. I’ve been on a long artistic journey, helped significantly along the way by instructors here at Sanctuary Arts. I am grateful to them all.
