Big Ink is coming to
Sanctuary Arts this Saturday & Sunday
November 2 & 3 & is open to the public 1 - 4 each day.
Fourteen artists will be printing their woodblocks on the BIG TUNA press. Sizes range from 24" by 36" or as big as 40" by 96". The public is invited to come between 1 and 4 on both days to witness the spectacle of this woodblock printing process.
Portrait Workshop

Anthony Alemany
Anthony Alemany offers Portrait Workshop (SA 16) for three days – December 6, 7 & 8. His 3 day intensive offers foundational skills for sculpting a portrait from life and is suitable for all skill levels. It includes demonstrations, step-by-step guidance for working with a live model, and personalized feedback. Students will have the option to fire their portraits for an additional fee. Anthony is a very gifted sculptor and instructor who really helps his students to understand how to capture a likeness. One of his high school students won an award for her portrait modeled in Anthony’s class.

All artists are part of the extended Sanctuary community- studio residents and their kids, artful neighbors and friends. Expect to find a wide range of gifts for sale for the Holidays, including ceramics, sculptural bronze and resin castings, holiday wreaths, paintings, jewelry, metal work in iron and silver, woodcraft, origami lantern lights and more. Explore the unique property and support your local artists. Holiday cheer and treasures for the discerning shopper will be found.
