Well, Senior Scholars, we made it through 2020 - a year we will always remember as the year of COVID!
The battle is not quite over, but in 2021 we can see on the horizon
the possibility to get back to normality - our weekly on-site talks at PUMC, our LunchBunch gatherings, and even our Wildacres Retreat.

We are going full-speed ahead into 2021 scheduling our weekly Zoom Webinars with an outstanding lineup of speakers (starting with author Frye Gaillard this Friday, January 8) but we hope to resume our in-person meetings just as soon as we can safely do so. Thanks for your loyalty to us during this period, and we hope to see you soon!

Frye Gaillard will speak about his award-winning book,
A Hard Rain: America in the
1960s, examining the parallel story arcs of tragedy and hope, and reflecting on what we can learn from the struggles, turbulence and idealism of that era.
Frye Gaillard, Writer in Residence at the University of South Alabama, is former staff writer and Southern Editor at the Charlotte Observer. He is the author of more than 25 books, including
A Hard Rain;
The Dream Long Deferred; and
Cradle of
Freedom.
