Dear Members of Senior Scholars,
In light of current information about COVID-19, I imagine all of you have been wondering whether we should continue holding our weekly Friday meetings.
Our Board met this afternoon. Kevin Soden, MD was present in an advisory capacity to lay out a proposed course of action. The Board made the decision to suspend weekly meetings based on the medical information provided by Dr. Soden.
In the weeks to come, we will continue to discuss this issue with Dr. Soden and make a decision to resume meetings when it is appropriate. We will make every effort to inform you along the way as Dr. Soden shares information with us. We plan to continue sending our weekly Monday emails.
The meeting this Friday, March 13 is cancelled. The March "lunch bunch" and the upcoming field trip are also cancelled.
We look forward to safely gathering again when the time is right.
