A HELP WANTED MESSAGE . . .

"We need a new Senior Scholars Team member."

A person who has a team spirit, is willing to help us recognize our weekly speakers and is computer savvy with Word and Power Point.

Specifically, we're looking for someone to prepare a weekly personalized "Certificate of Appreciation" that is presented to each new Friday speaker, at the conclusion of their presentation.

We will provide you with a computer "certificate template" from which to work; the only changes to each certificate are "speaker's name & title" and  "speaking date."   Generally, certificates are prepared in groups of 5 or 6 and placed in the PUMC Senior Scholars cabinet until the appropriate date.  Only 3 (November) certificates need completion in order to conclude our 2019 programming. Your expenses for materials will be reimbursed.

You'll work with someone who is currently doing the certificates and it's your call when you feel you're comfortable with doing them on your own.  But you're never alone -- questions and suggestions will always come up and be welcomed.  Learning curve should be quite short.

These certificates are critically important!  It is our way of acknowledging a speaker's presentation and saying "we are most appreciative."  The completed certificate (printed on certificate - stock paper) is bright and crisp and really pops in the dark frame.

If you are interested and want to meet and chat -- please email me at waltertromano@aol.com or call me at 704-541-0814.  I will be delighted to discuss this with you.

We are hoping to fill this position in the September/October time frame.

Senior Scholars at Queens is truly unique !  We are a great group -- lets chat.

Thank you,

Walt Romano
