01 THIS ISSUE
It’s impossible to ignore the extent to which our lives, networks and industries have changed in the past few, long weeks. COVID-19’s impact has been swift, and the situation remains emergent, evolving by the day. At Silicon Foundry, we’ve been tracking the developments closely and in concert with our Members. Our team is focused on constructing immediate actionable solutions for our Members to navigate the unexpected by adjusting to new priorities, mitigating challenges and sourcing opportunities. Across the board, we’ve seen innovation drive crisis responses, from startups adapting their product roadmaps to corporations repurposing their manufacturing facilities to meet the most pressing societal needs. We’re inspired by the ways the tech industry has - and will continue - to tackle this global pandemic, which is why we’re dedicating this latest Frontline issue to COVID-19-related content. From our team to yours, we hope you, your families and colleagues take care during this uniquely challenging period.

05 #HEARTLOCAL
This crisis has had a particularly devastating impact on local businesses and service providers. Now, more than ever, it’s important that we show up for our communities. At Silicon Foundry, every member of the team received a #heartlocal allowance to spend at their beloved neighborhood providers, such as restaurants, daycare providers and dog walkers. So far, we’ve observed that #heartlocal offers so much more than a positive economic impact; it also brings our communities closer together through a powerful gesture of solidarity.

We are sharing in hopes that our #heartlocal initiative might inspire others to find similar ways to support their local businesses and service providers in this critical time of need.
