Dec 2, Dec 9, Dec 16 2018 CANNERY FARMERS' MARKET
The Cannery Farmers' Market is Steveston's indoor winter market, held at the Gulf of Georgia Cannery National Historic Site. This unique market features local food and artisan merchants, inside a historic cannery setting. Admission to the museum is free on market days, with guided heritage tours by donation.
Dec 1, 2018 HERITAGE CHRISTMAS CRAFT FAIR
Britannia Shipyards National Historic Site is hosting the second annual Heritage Christmas Craft Fair on December 1st. This year, the craft fair is expanding site wide and will be taking place in the Seine Net Loft, Murakami Boatworks and Chinese Bunkhouse buildings.
Visit Britannia and find the perfect homemade gift and meet local artisans and wooden boat enthusiasts for some festive cheer.
Dec 2 2018 CHRISTMAS IN STEVESTON VILLAGE
Breakfast with Santa (Steveston Community Centre). Celebrate the holidays with breakfast, crafts, gifts and a visit with Santa. This event is suitable for all ages. Both children and parents must pre-register.

Steveston Village is the perfect setting for this annual favourite. To the delight of both the young, and the young at heart, Santa arrives at Fisherman’s Wharf in true nautical style at 1pm aboard a whale watching boat. Bring your camera and take a photo with Santa inside the Gulf of Georgia Cannery from 2-4pm. Also enjoy The Cannery Farmers' Market, Christmas at the Cannery and Festival of Trees.

Save your Christmas wishes to personally tell Santa when he visits the Cannery from 2 to 4pm on Dec. 2nd where he will be available for photos inside the Boiler House Theatre. Admission is free; please bring your own cameras! As this is always a popular event, timed tickets to meet Santa will be distributed at the Cannery, starting at 12noon.
Steveston Classic Car Cruise starts at 12:15pm, then the cars will be on display in the parking lot of the Steveston Hotel until 2:30pm. Richmond Christmas Fund staff will be on site to collect donations of money and new unwrapped toys.

Enjoy the music of Louise Southwood and Stanton Jack - a new generation of classical guitarists. They combine technical excellence with musical sensitivity, expressed through the language of the guitar. Doors open at 12:30pm.
Dec 1 - Dec 31, 2018 CHRISTMAS AT THE CANNERY - FESTIVAL OF TREES
Steveston Festival of Trees, from December 1 to 31, inside the Gulf of Georgia Cannery National Historic Site. Merchants and community groups from the Steveston area will show off their creative talents by decorating their own Christmas trees, which will be on display inside the historic cannery, for a friendly competition to earn your votes. The winning tree will be announced on December 16th at the Cannery Farmers Market.
Holiday Hours: Open daily 10am to 5pm. Dec. 24 & 31 Open 10am to 2pm. Closed Dec. 25& 26
Dec 1 - Dec 31, 2018 HERITAGE BUILDING LIGHT DISPLAY
Heritage Building Light Display, Evenings take a stroll through Britannia Shipyards National Historic Site and be dazzled by the heritage building light displays.
Dec 6 - Dec 7, 2018 WINTER HAYRIDES IN STEVESTON
Hop aboard for an old-time Winter Hayride around Steveston Village that includes a sing-a-long and viewing of local holiday displays. This event is for All Ages. Pre-registration is required at Steveston Community Centre. Trips run in 30 minute intervals. Thursday, Dec 06, 2018 (6:00-8:30)pm & Friday, Dec 07, 2018 (6:00-9:00pm).

Dec 1, Dec 8 and Dec 15 2018 SONGS IN THE SNOW CONCERT SERIES
Gather friends and family to welcome the holiday season with the Songs in the Snow concert series in Steveston Museum's Town Square Park. This is a free, family-friendly holiday event partnership between Steveston Historical Society, the Richmond Arts Coalition and Steveston Museum & Visitor Centre. Featuring local musicians, Girl Guides carolling in vintage costumes, children's crafts, hot beverages sponsored by G&F Financial, local vendors, and more, these events are not to be missed.

Dec 24 2018 STEVESTON SANTA CLAUS PARADE
Come join Santa, Mrs. Claus and many friends around the streets of Steveston on Christmas Eve. This is a Free and family friendly event. Non-perishable food donations are appreciated and will be donated to the Richmond Food Bank.
