The Steveston Farmers & Artisans Market (SFAM) is a place for the community to meet farmers and artisans in an open, fresh-air environment. SFAM is a not-for-profit operation run by a volunteer committee. At the Steveston Farmers and Artisans Market, you can find Fresh locally grown produce, Artisan-processed foods, Local arts and crafts, Music by talented local musicians, Ready-to-eat food and refreshments, Kids' craft and activities, Entertainment throughout the season.

June 10, 2018 LIONS CLUB ANNUAL SOCKEYE RUN CAR SHOW AND SHINE
The 28th Annual Sockeye Run Car Show takes place on June 10th, 2018 at Steveston Park.
Judging starts at 11pm. Spectators admission by donation. Enjoy music and entertainment with Hot Wheels racing in the park with a chance to win new Hot Wheels Cars. Concession with burgers, dogs, fries and drinks. Model building workshop for kids with a model contest following. Free parking available at the Steveston Community Centre. Show hours 10:00am - 4:00pm
June 16,17 2018 40TH ANNUAL PACIFIC RIM KITE FESTIVAL 2018
Come join the British Columbia Kitefliers Association for two days of kite flying at Garry Point Park in Richmond. Individual and team kite demonstrations, Rokkaku kite battles, as sail boarders and sailboats pass offshore. Your child can build his or her own kite at the Children’s Kite Making Workshop. Teddy Bear & Candy Drops, Kite flying Demonstrations. This event takes place rain or shine.

June 21 2018 STEVESTON FOLK GUILD PRESENTS GARY POOLE
Steveston native Gary is returning to the Guild, and we are pleased to have him back. A songwriter with an eye and ear for the journeys of our lives. His songs explore a world that is sometimes wildly complex and sometimes beautifully simple. In the early stages of his career, Gary was a creative force behind the group Marilyn, Hudson, Carr and Poole, writing their hit singles "For Today" and "Is it any wonder?" Today, Gary is writing and performing with the same passion that defined him back then.
