The Steveston Farmers & Artisans Market (SFAM) is a place for the community to meet farmers and artisans in an open, fresh-air environment. SFAM is a not-for-profit operation run by a volunteer committee. At the Steveston Farmers and Artisans Market, you can find Fresh locally grown produce, Artisan-processed foods, Local arts and crafts, Music by talented local musicians, Ready-to-eat food and refreshments, Kids' craft and activities, Entertainment throughout the season.

September 20, 2018 STEVESTON FOLK GUILD PRESENTS S. KEMPSTON
Simon Kempston, "one of Scotland's best songwriters" (The Sunday Herald) and leading fingerstyle guitarists, performs music that is steeped in the history of folk, blues and celtic traditions. His unique talent shows through in his thought-provoking and original songs. Simon's live performances are intense and impassioned, the subject matter chiefly Scottish yet with universal appeal. Simon will be playing songs from his latest cd "Vanishing act: and from "Onward she travels".
September 22 - 23, 2018 8TH ANNUAL STEVESTON GRAND PRIX OF ART
The picturesque fishing village of Steveston is the stunning location for the 8th annual Grand Prix of Art. Over 100 artists of all ages and experience levels join us for a day of intense fun and competition, artists race against the clock in this three hour painting challenge. The competition starts at 10am, and ends at 1pm. Artists are assigned painting locations throughout Steveston Village. The exhibition is open to the public from 3pm – 6pm on Saturday and will remain on display at Britannia Heritage Shipyards National Historic Site until Sunday, September 23rd from 12-pm – 4pm.
