The Disappearing Bride

Ole was strolling down town when he encountered an old friend, Bjarne. After exchanging greetings, Bjarne made some comments about his long-suffering marriage to Inger, who frequently lectured Bjarne when he stayed out late.

"Vell, I finally told her off a few veeks ago" explained Bjarne, "And you know vhat? I didn't see dat voman for TWO VEEKS!"

"Den vhat happened?" asked the curious Ole.

"Vell" said Bjarne "In da tird veek, I vas able to see a little bit out of dis right eye..."
