Throughout time, Lefse has been a staple at Thanksgiving and Christmas--at least for us Scandinavians! And Norsland Lefse makes it as good as "Grandma" used to. SEEING EYE WHAT!!!!
Ole's mother-in-law had come to stay with Ole and Lena for an extended visit and brought her Chihuahua along. The task of walking the dog every day fell to Ole. One hot afternoon he got the urge to stop at a cafe for some ice cream. Since there was no place to tie up the dog outside, he decided to take it into the cafe. If anyone complained, he would just say it was a seeing-eye dog. The proprietor approached Ole and said, "I'm sorry, Sir, but we don't allow dogs in here."
"Vell," said Ole, "dis yust happens to be a seeing-eye dog."
"I wasn't aware that Chihuahuas were used as seeing-eye dogs," challenged the man.
Said Ole, "Dey gave me a Chihuahua????!!
