Vat's Dat?

Little Ole's friend, Eric, told how  his grandparents make strange noises every time they go to a restaurant or a show. "They always make a funny noise I don't understand," he said, "they walk up to the cash register and say AARP."

Fish Tale

Ole's cousin, Torleiv Sorlien, was visiting from northern Minnesota.  He started bragging about all the walleyes he had caught recently.  In fact, his boast was that they were so big, "it only took eight walleyes to make a dozen."

Vomen's Visdom

Lena has a clever method of getting Ole to do something...she just suggests that maybe he's too old to do it.
