DA GREAT HUNT
Sven and Ole vere out deer hunting in da big woods up 'bove Eau Claire. Dey managed to flush out and shoot a nice, fine buck vid a spectacular rack. Dey're draggin it back tru da voods to der truck, but da rack keeps getting tangled up in da underbrush and dey're having a real hard time.
A game varden stops dem to inspect der prize. Vid everyting legal, da game varden congratulates dem. He notices da deer's antlers are full of brush and he can see "da boys" have been having trouble. He says, "Dat's a fine buck ya got, but it looks like you're having a lot of trouble dragging it out of da voods. It would be a LOT easier if you drag it da udder direction."
The varden leaves and "da boys" try dragging da buck from da udder end. Dey are amazed because now da antlers move freely and don't get stuck in da brush.
Ole says to Sven, "Boy, dat Varden vas right! It is a lot easier dragging it dis vay."
Sven says "Yah Ole, but ve're getting a lot furder avay from da truck."
