Music was in the air as the Sports Association hosted a Para Dance Sport Clinic in partnership with the Fred Astaire Dance Studio of West Hartford. Para Dance Sport, formerly known as Wheelchair Dance Sport, is a graceful and stylish sport which involves athletes with a physical impairment that affects the lower limbs. Ten participants had the opportunity to try Ballroom and Latin Dance techniques from a seated position in a wheelchair. Thank you to Andrea Resnisky from Fred Astaire for leading the clinic. If you would like to get invovled with Para Dance, free monthly clinics are offered at Fred Astaire in West Hartford. Please contact Andrea for more information at
