News and Updates
The Paramobile has arrived!
The Sports Association is excited to announce that we now have a Paramobile to use in our adaptive sport programs!

The Paramobile, also called the Paragolfer, is an all-terrain wheelchair that raises the user into a standing position, allowing a more conventional golf swing,

The purchase of this equipment was made possible through a grant from the Stand Up and Play Foundation, a donation from the Scappaticci - Steinberg Foundation, and proceeds from the Gaylord Gauntlet.  Anthony Netto, the co-inventor of the Paramobile visited Gaylord and introduced the Paramobile to staff and community members. The Paramobile is available for use in the golf and archery programs.  It was recenlty used in our 6 week veterans golf program.  Check out the story in the Record Journal and the New Haven Register.
