Gr. 5-8 Writer’s Workshop: Permission slips are due Mon. April 16. Event is scheduled Fri. April 27, East campus atrium, 12:30 – 3:30. If your child invites a friend, please submit a separate permission slip for the friend.

CSP Noon Dismiss – Tues. April 17 (Gr. K, 2, 4, 6). Denim day. Please be prompt for pick-up. Carpool will move quickly. Teachers attend in-service at 12:30.
Late Pick-Up: If you’re unable to pick up your child by 3:45 pm when carpool ends, a tutor will escort him/her to the CSP-CP Office to wait for you till 4 pm. Please park in front and come to the office to retrieve your child. Children may not wait in the atrium as there is no adult supervision after 3:30 pm. Thank you.
End of Year Absenteeism (Policy JHB-Y-TCA) If a student is absent from school at the end of the year and does not return for the last two (2) consecutive class days of school AND the student has three (3) or more absences in the semester, excused or unexcused, the student is considered withdrawn from The Classical Academy, effective the last day he/she attended classes.
* Kinder – max. 6 absences/semester
* Gr. 1-8 – max. 3 absences/semester.
TOTY: Congratulations Coach Kristen Anderson for being named the 2017-18 CSP Titan of the Year nominee. Coach Anderson is a tremendously skilled, caring educator, always encouraging students to try their best, display good sportsmanship, and make healthy choices in and out of the classroom. She also offers valuable support to our homeschool community and staff. We couldn’t think of a more deserving teacher for this honor. **Thank you, Ellie Bakk for being our CSP parent representative on the nomination committee. Good luck Coach!
