April 16 – Noon Dismiss for CSP Gr. 2, 4 & 6.

(Regular 11:30 dismiss for AM Kinder class. NO PM Kinder class.) Denim day. Teacher in-service at 12:30. 

May 9 – Evening of the Arts: JH Musical, East gym (6:30-8:00) and CSP Art Show (4:30 – 6:30), CSP Halls - FREE

May 10, 6:00-10:00 pm – CSP/CP 8^th Grade Dinner Dance, East gym

May 15, 8:15 am – 12:00 pm – K-6 Field Day, students wear specific class color t-shirt (see teacher’s newsletter for details). Noon Dismiss

May 15, 8:30 – 9:00 am – Kinder Concert, gym, families & friends are invited

May 16, 6:00 – 8:00 pm – End-of-Year CSP Skate Party @ Skate City, Barnes Rd. Free admission & traditional skate rental & pizza for CSP families and staff. You may bring your own rollerblades.

May 20 – 22 – Last week of CSP M-T-W classes, Participation Reports sent home; Denim Days

MON May 20 – Last day for M/W Kinder students

TUES May 21 – Last day for T/TH Kinder students

THURS May 23 – Noon Dismiss - Last day for CSP THURS classes; Denim Day

TCA CORE VALUES: Core Values serve as a compass and guide for keeping TCA on its originally intended course in the present and future.

The Core Values are represented via parts of a tree: the Roots, Trunk, Branches, Leaves and Fruit.

Continually feeding a Mind which is:

• Attentive, analytical and discerning
• Passionate for life-long learning
• Growing in its foundation of knowledge
• Respectful of the rights and responsibilities of his/her citizenship

And caring for the physical needs of his or her Body through doing the “musts” in one’s life such as:

• Good nutrition
• Regular exercise
• Other healthy habits

Each grade level will study at least 4 different Virtues in Action (VIA) character strengths this year. (See teacher’s newsletter.) 

Parents are encouraged to continue character discussions at home.
