From the Principal’s desk…

Hello CSP Families,

Thank you for your enthusiastic response to the CSP Parent Survey this year. We surpassed last year's total surveys returned. Students have earned CASUAL DAY – week of Mar. 20 – 23 (before Spring Break). They may wear a modest outfit of their choice - denim, athletic wear, dress/skirt, etc. (No holes, frayed hems, no short dresses/skirts, inappropriate t-shirt logos, etc.) We truly value your honest feedback as we consider ways to improve and grow CSP to benefit our homeschool community.

SPELLING BEE WINNERS - Grand Champion: Riley Hatfield, Gr. 5; Outstanding Runner-up: Aidan Laird, Gr. 8. Congratulations to our top spellers and the 24 Gr. 4-8 classroom finalists. We're proud of each of you! Heartfelt thanks to CSP staff who assisted at Thursday's event: Mrs. Kozyra, Miss Sandi, Miss Brittany, Mrs. Meyer and Mrs. Rowland.

I encourage you to nominate a special CSP teacher, tutor, administrator, or office staff for the Titan of the Year. Deadline – TH Mar. 9. See info & link below. This is an prestigious honor for all nominees. The winner will be recognized at the TCA all-staff assembly on Aug. 10.

In partnership,

Susan Nosal

CSP POLICY

ATTENDANCE POLICY
Parents - if your child will be absent please call 487-2000 and leave details on our attendance line. Students who are chronically absent and exceed 3 absences (6 Kinder half days) in a semester, excused or unexcused, risk not successfully completing the semester.

IF A STUDENT EXCEEDS THE MAXIMUM ALLOWED ABSENCES, he/she must attend the final two class sessions of the school year or the student will be disenrolled by the Registrar. You will need to put your student back on the waitlist. Consistent attendance at CSP should be a top priority since we are a part-time program. See ATTENDANCE POLICY on the website: CSP/Parents/CSP Handbook/Attendance Policy.

DELAYED SCHOOL HOURS
In the event we have a weather 2-hour delay, please follow these times:

10:15-3:30 all classes, Grades 1-8
10:15-12:30 K AM classes
1:15-3:30 K PM classes

*Hot lunch will be served on 2-hour delays for Grades 1-6.

Morning kindergarten children need to bring a big snack since they are being dismissed later than usual.
*Students may wear denim bottoms + a uniform top on delayed start days.
NOTE: If we have a 2-hr. delay on an in-service date (Apr. 20), students will not come to class. Only teachers report 2 hrs. late and stay for in-service.
