Hello CSP parents,

This week CSP is hosting Teacher-Teacher Conferences. Students do not attend class. Homework has been assigned to complete this week. Classes resume & homework is due Mon. Oct. 24. Coach Anderson will be in her gym office Monday and Tuesday.

All TCA parents are invited to attend an important workshop addressing “Parenting in Challenging Times” presented by Dr. Scott Poland,” Wed. Oct. 26, from 7 – 8:30 pm in the TCA-North gym. He will address a variety of topics including suicide awareness, prevention and intervention and social media.

Please note that Thursday students will have a 2 hr. delay on TH Oct. 27 for staff to attend this same workshop with Dr. Poland. Students should be in their seats by 10:15 am. Hot lunch will be served. Students may wear denim. Kinder TH AM will be held 10:15 – 12:30 and TH PM will be from 1:15 – 3:30 pm. Carpool will be in the usual locations.

CSP POLICY

NEW FIELD TRIP CHAPERONES AT TCA
As you know, TCA students, staff, and parents enjoy a warm, caring community that fosters the highest standards of academic, social, and emotional growth. The efforts of our parent & non-parent volunteers are a vital part of that community. In an effort to further ensure the safety of our students, TCA and Academy School District 20 require that all field trip chaperones and regularly-scheduled classroom helpers complete a background check and confidentiality agreement prior to chaperoning or working with our students. Please complete the Volunteer forms through this link and return them to the office.

If you were an approved volunteer during the 2015-16 school year, you do not need to fill out a new packet. Also, CSP will NOT need volunteer drivers for field trips this year.

**Approved volunteer chaperones are required to ride the bus and may not bring siblings.
