Update from the CI Office |
Greetings Members! My name is David Sharbaugh and I believe I have met, or at least emailed, a large number of you over my ten plus years and multiple roles here at The Combustion Institute Office in Pittsburgh. For those of you who I have not worked with yet, I am the Programs and Events Coordinator.
Recently, I have taken on the responsibilities of “Section Liaison” to better serve our Section Chairs and our members. In this role, I am in direct communication with Section Leadership, providing them updates on new website options on the CI Site that could be of interest to their membership, updating them on upcoming award deadlines, newsletter submission dates, and schools and meetings that they may wish to promote to their membership. Mostly, I hope to serve as a point of contact for our Section Chairs, providing assistance to help them better serve their members and their science.
If you have a question about my role or are interested in seeing what the CI Office can provide your section, please reach out to me at david@combustioninstitute.org.
