2023 Distinguished Paper Award (DPA) in the Low Emission Combustion Technologies Colloquium

Congratulations to Guillaume Vignat, Bassem Akoush, Edna Rebeca Toro Garza, Emeric Boigné, and Matthias Ihme for winning the DPA in the Low Emission Combustion Technologies colloquium. The research for their distinguished paper, Combustion of lean ammonia-hydrogen fuel blends in a porous media burner," began in the summer of 2021 and still continues today, exploring new materials and developing more advanced simulation methods. Read more about their study here.

2023 Distinguished Paper Award (DPA) in the Diagnostics Colloquium

Congratulations to Leonardo Castellanos, Francesco Mazza, and Alexis Bohlin for winning the DPA in the Diagnostics colloquium. Dr. Bohlin and the members of his team authored their distinguished paper, "Water vapor in hydrogen flames measured by time-resolved collisional dephasing of the pure rotational N2 CARS signal," because they believe that further development and refinement of sustainable hydrogen technologies will play an important role in achieving a smooth energy transition and more climate-friendly propulsion and power systems. Read more about their study here.

Updates on the 19th International Conference on Numerical Combustion (ICNC2024) The list of accepted Mini-Symposia for ICNC2024 has been released. Additionally, abstract submissions are now open, and are being accepted through 15 December 2023. Details are available here.
